Gloria Jean Grimble

Gloria Wright was born on June 8, 1951 at Alexandria, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Willie and Olevia (Crayton) Wright. Gloria was raised in Alexandria where she went to school and took training courses at the Job Corps. Gloria married Henry Grimble on December 28, 1982. They had four daughters, Melissa, Gloria, Audrey and Marquette. Gloria was a stay at home mother were she worked caring for her family. The family came to live in Sioux Falls in 2004. Gloria worked for her niece, Tina, helping with her cleaning business for a number of years. Gloria loved being around her family. She had a large collection of movies which included many scary movies. She enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casino and hitting the buffet. Gloria also enjoyed crocheting projects with her sister. She is survived by her mother, Olevia; four daughters, Melissa Wright, Jeanette Johnson, Audrey Wright and Marquette Grimble; her grandchildren, Roy Johnson, Janet Johnson, Rose Mary Johnson, Elizabeth Wright, Aliyah Martinez, Jalana Regan and Amelia Martinez; two sisters, Brinda Graves-Hall and Joyce Dobson. She is preceded in death by her father and her husband.
