Faye was born August 30, 1923 at Pomeroy, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Artha (PeCoy) Sigler. She grew up and attended school in Sioux Falls. Faye married Horace Pinkerton in 1942 at Sioux Falls. They lived in Colorado for several years. Horace passed away in 1973 and Faye returned to Sioux Falls. Faye worked in the cafeteria at Memorial Middle School for many years and also at the Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the VFW, DAV, American Legion and Marines Auxiliaries; the Moose Lodge; and the Navy Mothers. She volunteered at the VA Regional Hospital for many years. Faye was a fun-loving person and enjoyed bowling, reading, word puzzles and crochet. She loved taking care of her grandchildren. Faye is survived by her children, Terry Pinkerton of Sioux Falls, Larry Pinkerton Ft. Worth, TX and Judy Kuntz of Sioux Falls; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; three siblings, Cleo(Donald) Burnett, Milton Sigler and Shirley Snapper. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Theresa.
