Robert was born September 12, 1949 at Canistota, South Dakota, the son of Paul and Gertrude (Bormann) Rosenquist. He graduated from Washington High School and then attended Pipestone Area Vo-Tech in the Automotive Diagnostics program. Robert served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam War from 1969-1975. He served with the Air Force Red Horse engineering division and was a Staff Sergeant. Robert married Damaris Boulden on October 10, 1992 at Eastside Baptist Church. He worked for Sioux Steel performing building maintenance for several years. He worked in the building maintenance field until his heart condition forced him to retire. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He loved spending time with grandchildren. Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife, Damaris; children, Robert Rosenquist, Jr., Jacob (Heather) Morris and Joshua (Crystal) Morris; five grandchildren, Cameron, Parker, Ryley, Grace and Jacob; two siblings, Lee Rosenquist and Jeanine May. He was preceded in death by his parents.
