Eyva Jessie Cash was born April 25, 1978 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of Audrey Yarbrough and Jerry Boomgarden. She grew up in Sioux Falls and attended Lincoln High School. Eyva lived in Minneapolis for 10 years. She moved to San Francisco, California four years ago and lived with her boyfriend, Mark. She was strong willed, a free spirit. and she did the things that made her happy. Her dog, Luna Bloons, was her constant companion. Eyva was 36 years old when she passed away November 16, 2014 in San Francisco after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Eyva was very creative and enjoyed photography and shopping for vintage jewelry. She made many cards and knitted items for her family and friends. She loved the beach, ocean and lighthouses. She was always singing and loved karaoke. Eyva rode motorcycles for many years. She was a curious person and an urban explorer, visiting sites like Alcatraz. Eyva is survived by her mother, Audrey Yarbrough; three siblings, Donald (Shannon) Collins, Dale (Denise) Prescott and Tina Prescott; stepfather, Steve Julison; aunts and uncles, Theresha and Ed Szypulski, Harm and Carol Boomgarden; many nieces, nephews and cousins; her boyfriend, Mark Henrickson; and Luna Bloons. She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Boomgarden; and grandparents, Adeline and Herman Boomgarden. A memorial fund has been established at Voyage Federal Credit Union, Sioux Falls
