Jeff Mayers

Jeffery Mayers was born March 25, 1955 to Daryll and Orvetta Mayers at Bismark, North Dakota. He graduated high school and attended Bismark State College where he obtained a degree in boiler engineering. Jeff worked many jobs in North Dakota and was a hard worker. He retired from John Morrell where he was employed for 20 years. He made many friends at work and was known for his sense of humor. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping with friends and fishing and hunting. Jeff was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikeings. Jeff was 59 when he passed away July 24, 2014 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Jeff is survived by his wife, Lori of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, son, Chad; daughter, Melissa; grandchildren, Trey, Tiera, Travis, Trevor, Kimberlee, Hannah and Hailey; great granddaughter, Alayna; sisters- in- law, Sharon and Lisa; stepson, Tyler, sister, Connie and a host of other family and friends. Jeff joined his brothers, Rick and Billy in Heaven. He will be truly missed.
