Ihlene Rubin

Ihlene Cheryl (Aasen) Rubin passed away Friday the 13th of December at the age of 66. Ihlene was born to Charlotte Bernice and Irwin Joseph Aasen on the 8th of January, 1947 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Ihlene was baptized at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Washington High School in 1966. Ihlene married Terry Graham Rubin on March 22, 1972 and they made their life long home in the Sioux Falls, SD area. She spent the majority of her working career at Sioux Falls Bell Federal Union. Grateful for having shared her life is her father, Irwin of Sioux Falls; four siblings, Darlene (Doug) Christopherson of Rochester, MN, Diane (Rodney) Hohn of Wellsville, KS, Kathryn Aasen of Sioux Falls, and Stuart (Kathy) Aasen of Medina, MN; brother-in-law, Michael Rubin of Arizona; sister-in-law, Kathy Vetosas of California; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
