George D Fisher was born November 9, 1962 in Sioux Falls, the son of George and Mary Fisher. He was raised in Sioux Falls. As a young man, he helped Dutch Stansbury with a garbage route in Sioux Falls. George worked as an assembler at Litton Microwave in Sioux Falls for a number of years. He later worked on small jobs and projects. George loved working on cars. He was an avid fisherman and hunter for many years. George spent a lot of his spare time at the farm where he enjoyed being outdoors, hanging with friends and helping with projects. He is survived by his mother, Mary Thomas of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Elizabeth Ames of Sioux Falls; granddaughters, Phauness, Janaya, Samyra and Kyra; five siblings, Clinton Lottman of Sioux Falls, Betty (Ivor) Comer of Sioux Falls, Elaine (Randy ) Steineke of Trent, Edie (Chuck) Kopecky of Sioux Falls, and Mary Thomas (Glen Elness) of Sioux Falls; and special friends, Chuck Silvernail, Mark and Camile Hinerickson; and his faithful companion, Bandit. He is preceded in death by his father; two siblings, Greg and Evie; and a nephew, Joey, and niece Georgia.
