Donald Reents

Don Reents was born November 13, 1922 at Clara City, Mn, the son of John and Hazel Reents. He graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls. Don served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean War. Don married Arlene Nelson in 1948 and they had three children. Don worked at John Morrell Company for over 30 years. Don married Rachel Warren in 1969. He enjoyed working in his garage on metal and wood projects. He was a member of the VFW Post in Sioux Falls. Don was a resident at Covington Heights Nursing Home when he passed away Thursday. He is survived by his children, Douglas Reents, David Reents and Donna Gillette, all of Sioux Falls; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two siblings, Dennis Reents and Stella Cooksley.
