Reade Nelson

Reade was born on February 16th, 1966 at Sioux Valley Hospital to Gene and Adeline Nelson. He attended Bancroft Elementary, Whittier Junior High, and Washington High School, graduating in 1984. Reade was employed at the Bike Barn, Schoeneman?s Lumber and for the past several years at Justice Fire & Safety. He married Michelle Hermann on May 18th, 1990 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. They resided their entire married life in Sioux Falls. In fact, we just discovered that not only did they meet at Pizza Inn, but lived in a house behind Pizza Inn for the past 18 years. Reade liked anything with wheels ? except lawn mowers! He enjoyed restoring cars and motorcycles and working in his garage or ?man cave? as the rest of us would refer to it. He loved working with computers and hanging out with his numerous friends. He was always extremely giving and was always willing to help anyone, at any time, in any way. We are all left with memories of his caring ways, constant smile, and infectious laugh. Reade is survived by his wife, Michelle; two siblings, Scott (Lisa) of Sioux Falls, Dawn (Bill) Crevier of Chancellor; numerous nieces, nephews; and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
