Kathleen Axtell

Kathleen was born April 29, 1952 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of Alvin and Viola (Fetters) McTague. She was raised in Sioux Falls and graduated from high school. She married Wayne Axtell on June 12, 1970. They lived in Sioux Falls where Kathleen worked as a housekeeper in dormitories for Augustana College from 1980 to 2009. Wayne passed away in 1988. Kathleen continued to reside in Sioux Falls. She loved animals and had many pets. She enjoyed spending time with her friend, Cary Toutegs. Kathleen was 59 years old when she passed away at her home in Sioux Falls She is survived by her mother, Viola McTague, Sioux Falls; two brothers, Tim (Debra) McTague of Wentworth and Scott McTague of Sioux Falls; brothers-in-law, Bob Lore and Robert Axtell; a niece, Brianna (Jeff) Venekamp; three nephews, Kevin McTague, Jon (Alicia) Lore, Jason Lore; three great nieces and three great nephews; an aunt, Vera (George) McKay; uncle, Err (Shelley) Fetters; great aunt, Joyce Dinger; mother-in-law, Eunice Axtell; step mother, Aileen McTague; special friend, Cary Toutegs;,and many extended family members.
