Erma Lahn

Erma was born March 10, 1923 at Mont, North Dakota, the daughter of Thomas and Deede (Wilder) Varns. She married Roy Charlton on March 17, 1956 in Luverne, MN. Erma was employed at John Morrell Company for 29 years. Roy passed away in 1996. Erma married Richard Lahn October 13, 2007 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband, Richard and five siblings, Eula Varns, Betty Miller, Loretta Miller, Goldie Varns and Norman Varns. Erma is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Virginia Bandura, Dorothy Welbig, Edward Varns and an infant brother, James Varns. A graveside service will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Hills of Rest Memorial Park in Sioux Falls. Memorials may be directed to Achieve or the National Cancer Society. Chapel Hill funeral Home is assisting the family.
