Barbara Remillard

Barbara J Remillard went to live with the Lord on Monday, December 9, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. 

She was born on May 31, 1963, in Huron South Dakota to Marianna and Duane Remillard. She is survived by her siblings Mary (Paul) Schwartz, Sandy (Erin) Deyo, Susan (Jack) Bundy, Paul (Tamara) Remillard, Jane (Loren) Stellner and countless nieces and nephews along with others who adopted her into their families.

Barb enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was very social. In 2019 she moved to North Carolina to live and eventually work with Living Free Ministries. While there she came to find the Lord and a family in the Living Free community. She spent the last few years of her life helping others to live addiction free and to find the Lord while also working in a thrift store to help support the ministry. In her final days, her wish was to come home to South Dakota. It was a very difficult journey, but through prayers and perseverance, she made it to her earthly home and shortly thereafter to her heavenly home.
