Carly Brennan

May 10, 1992 — January 26, 2023

Sioux Falls

Carly Victoria Brennan, precious daughter, born on Mother’s Day, May 10th, 1992, and cherished by many, passed away into eternity on January 26th  2023, after a long battle with mental illness.  She is survived by and is the beloved daughter of Scott and Patty Brennan and her loving siblings Melissa (Lenny), Joann, Kelly (AJ, Avery) and Trevor. She is also survived by her grandparents, Ron and Arlene Patton, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who all loved & cherished her.

Our precious Carly was a beautiful soul. She was funny, vivacious, full of energy, creative, smart and had the most beautiful smile that spread across her entire face and could charm a room.  Her deep dimples made her smile and laughter all the more lovely.

Carly enjoyed helping people.  She was a certified massage therapist & physical therapist assistant, which allowed her to do that. There was a sense of joy and satisfaction for her knowing she was truly helping people live and feel better.  Upon moving to Sioux Falls, she was briefly employed by JC Penny where she was looking forward to starting a new career and developing new friendships.  She liked to take walks in the calm of nature, enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, playing the piano, or sitting quietly and enjoying the company of those she loved.

We are heartbroken to lose our precious Carly so young but will forever carry her memory with us.  Carly, our precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, and niece, and friend, we will never, never, never forget you and we will always have a special place for you in our hearts and memories. We’ll love you forever and may you rest in eternal peace in the arms of the Lord.

A Celebration of Life to remember Carly, for family and friends, will be held on Sunday, February 26th, 2023, in the Abbott Room at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 2501 S Shirley Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57106. You may come anytime between the hours of 11-4 to visit with family and share your favorite story about Carly. A formal time of reading will begin at 2pm, and there will be a dinner to follow at a restaurant to be determined, starting at 6:30pm.

Isaiah 43:1   Thus says the Lord who created you, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. You are Mine.”
