David Olsen

David was born on July 22, 1953 in Cherokee, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1975 with a B.A. Degree. He taught Chemistry and Biology to high school students for over five years. David then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and completed his degree in 1978. He then went on to practice chiropractic medicine in Sutherland, Iowa for many years. People remarked he was the best chiropractor ever. In 1996, moved to South Dakota where he met the love of his life, Cindy Amdahl, in 2002.

 

David enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and had read the Bible from front to back.  He was hardworking man who enjoyed sharing with his vast knowledge with other people. He was employed at ABM INDUSTRIES  for the past 10 years as Lead until the time of death. 

 

David is survived by Cindy Amdahl, his life long companion; stepchildren, Lisa Ragon and Jodie Amdahl;  grandchildren,  Ashlie, Haylie,  Cierra, Zeya, Jordan, Jayden; his parents;  many siblings; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. He will be greatly missed until we meet him again.
