Debra Jane Hass

Debra, 65, passed away on March 28, 2020 at her home. She had a long and courageous battle with type I diabetes for 60 years. Deb was born on August 4, 1954 in Sioux Falls to Hans and Lillian (Dearing) Hass.

Deb worked at the Driver License Exam Station for 36 years. She had a love for writing poetry, animals and being outdoors. She cherished spending time with her daughter and only grandchild.

Deb is survived by her daughter, Jessica Hass; granddaugter, Zayda Hicks; three siblings, Jim Hass of Sioux Falls, Bill Hass and Dave Hass, both of San Diego, CA; two nieces, Natalie Vega Hass and Emily Vega Hass; along with extended family and friends that she loved very much.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
