Donna Marie Christopherson

Donna Marie Christopherson, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 surrounded by family, at the age of 77, at Doughtery Hospice House.

Donna Marie Christopherson was born on July 22, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama to Paul and Donna (Cowan) Eddins. Donna moved to Sioux Falls, in 1953 with her mom and sisters shortly after her father passed away unexpectedly. She attended school in the Sioux Falls School District. She was united in marriage to Gerald Allan Christopherson September 26, 1964 at Augustana Lutheran Church.

Donna loved spending time with her family, enjoyed activities such as bowling, cooking, bingo, and gardening.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Gerald Christopherson. Her daughter, Melissa Minihan and her husband, Patrick of Canton, South Dakota; Her son, Timothy Christopherson and his wife, Lisa of Denison, Iowa. Sister, Karen Roskens of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Sister in law, Judy and her husband, Ed Searles of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Grandchildren Benjamin, (Jillian) Minihan, Emily, (Joshua) Zellmer, Shelby Christopherson, and Ramsey Christopherson. Great Grandchildren William and Lowen Minihan, Leone, Aidy, and Luke Zellmer.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family for lunch and fellowship at the Church following the Memorial Service.
