Eva was born November 4, 1921 at Bertha, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Bernice Finck. She lived on the family farm with her parents and two sisters, Eleanor and Elaine, until she was married. Eva married Paul Mann on March 1, 1942 in Yuma, Arizona while he was a Staff Sargent in the Army during WWII.
Eva enjoyed long walks, working in her yard and flower beds and growing flowers in he sunny bay window. She loved shopping with her daughters and spending holidays with he grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and getting together for coffee. Eva spent many years taking care of her grandchildren and retired from Luther Manor after many years of service.
Eva was 96 years old when she passed away on November 2, 2018 at Good Samaritan Center in Sioux Falls.
Grateful for having shared in her life are three daughters, Vonnie McKenna of Ankeny, IA, Linda Krempges of Sioux Falls, Pam Mann and her husband, Bob Joedahl, Sioux Falls; a son, Ron Man and his wife, Laura, Sioux Falls; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor Bounds and Elaine Smith, both of Wadena, Mn. She also held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephew, Maureen, Ann and Greg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, who died on September 11, 1990, and her parents.
