Gloria Hardy

Gloria was born on April 7, 1950 in Watertown, South Dakota, the daughter of Alvin and Leona (Dickmann) Hegge. She grew up at Henry, South Dakota where she graduated from high school.

She married Ralph Cordell on September 28, 1968 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Gloria worked at Honeywell Corporation during the Vietnam War. Gloria worked as a truck driver, cook, dietary aide and her favorite job, a secret shopper. She married Edward Hardy on August 6, 1999 in Sioux Falls.

Gloria enjoyed crochet, crossword puzzles and adult coloring books. She loved horses and rode for many years. Her favorite color was purple.

Gloria was 68 years old when she passed away on April 1, 2019 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie; five children, Carrie Cordell of Arizona, Neil Cordell, Keith Cordell, Melissa Cordell and Kelsey Cordell, all of Sioux Falls; 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; two siblings, James Hegge of Big Lake, Mn. And Judy Cordell of Watertown, Sd.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terrance Biggs; a grandson, Jadon Cordell; and two brothers, Clyde Hegge and Dale Hegge.
