Joni Goodall

Joni Lynn Goodall (Simon) passed peacefully at Sanford Hospital on July 24th, 2022 surrounded by family.

Joni was born in Northfield, Minnesota on August 24th, 1976 to Ken and Barbara Simon (Boatman). Joni grew up in the Sioux Falls area, attending school in Brandon, and graduating from Brandon Valley High School in 1994. She married her husband Corey Goodall in 1996, and they welcomed their son, Tanner, in the same year. They welcomed their daughter, Ashlyn, in 2003.

She loved styling hair, doing makeup, listening to music, her cars, attending hockey games, binge watching her favorite tv shows, and spending time with her friends and family.

In addition to her family, Joni will be missed by her many close friends and acquaintances from school, work - especially her Citibank girls, and the hospital. We will all miss her smile, the glow in her eyes when she was happy, her laugh, and her ability to make friends with anyone.

Joni battled illness for many years, primarily Crohn’s disease and depression, but now is at peace from her pain and suffering.

She is survived by her father, Ken; a sister, Theresa (Tim); a brother, Dwayne; her nieces & nephews, great-nieces, in-laws; husband; children; and two cats (Sam and Lily).

Joni is preceded in death by her mother, as well as both her maternal and paternal grandparents.

No services are being held, at Joni’s request.
