Mary was born on June 17, 1932 in Parkston, South Dakota to Edward and Dorothy (Batenhorst) Boehmer.
On May 1, 1954, she married Earl V. Guenther. Mary's career as a mother, homemaker, nurses aide and a motel owner/operator kept her busy. Mary has lived in South Dakota most of her life except for 15 years in Texas.
She enjoyed singing and traveling the world over. She visited all 50 states, Rome, Egypt, Greece, China, cruised to the Bahamas and made three trips to Israel.
Jesus is the love of her life which brought her great joy. "It's all God's grace" she would often say. She will be greatly missed by her family, wonderful friends and acquaintances.
Grateful for having shared in her life are four children, Michael Guenther, Virginia (Dave) Kull, Daniel (Linda) Guenther and Cherie (Dave) Littlefield; 10 grandchildren, Andreana, Nathan, Eric, Jason, Amy, Jeremy, Brandon, Lisa, Dillon and Shawn; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; four siblings, Linus, Imelda, Eunice and Eymard.
