Today, our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our youngest sister. Her bright light and big heart left us too soon. Sara passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Sunday, September 10 at Dougherty House Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD.
Sara is survived by husband, DeMarcus Turner (and mother-in-law Antonia); daughters, Nadia and Aysha (Jeremy); grandchildren, Jalen, Kayden, and Harmony; her father, Tom (Diane) Logan; sisters, Amy (Kevin) Cowan, Renee (Andy Heaton) Logan, Lisa (Mike) Emmel; and brothers, Tom (Autumn) Logan and Matt (Megan) Logan; and many nieces and nephews. Sara is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia (Laurent) Logan and brother Benjamin.
Sara was passionate about helping others. She had a positive attitude and worked tirelessly with those who struggled. Sara had a strong sense of faith. She shared her story of triumph and recovery and inspired others to find strength in themselves.
She enjoyed traveling with her friends and family. A recent trip to Disney World is remembered fondly by her family as one of the happiest memories of time with Sara.
