Slobodan Topic

Slobodan was born on May 30, 1955 in Sarajevo, Bosnia. He is the son of Petar and Vjera Cojo.

Slobodan married Daniela Maric and they have a son, Miso. Slobodan attended the University of Sarajevo. He came to the United States in 1997 and completed his studies at Colorado Technical Institute.  He worked at Wells Fargo as a risk management analyst, and for the past 6 years at Esurance, handling communication and technology projects. Slobodan was fluent in several languages.

He was a tireless worker and dedicated his life to taking care of his wife and son. Slobodan passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Slobodan enjoyed walking his dog, Charlie, and spending time reading books. He liked going to Omaha and visiting his family.

He is survived by his wife, Daniela; a son, Miso; his parents, Petar and Vjera Cojo of Lyon, France; and a  sister, Ida Cojo of Lyon, France.
